THE PROWINE BARTENDERS’ COMPETITION

ProWine Mumbai has presented an exceptional platform for talented bartenders in the country to showcase their skills at the ProWine Bartenders’ Competition. Bartenders are the backbones for best showcasing spirits and winning cocktail competitions is one of the fastest ways to become well known. Auditions for Round 1 took place earlier this month and finalists will compete onsite at ProWine Mumbai. Judges include Aneesh Bhasin, Co-founder of Svami, an eminent Wine & Spirits Commentator and also voted as GQ India’s 30 Most Influential Young Indians; Priyanka Blah, Founder of The Dram Attic and One of Bar World's 100 Most Influential Figures in the Industry Worldwide and Yash Bhanage, Founder of Hunger Ink that runs The Bombay Canteen, O Pedro, Bombay Sweet Shop and Veronica’s.

Select bartenders from the country's leading bars and hotels will be invited to a good spirited live battleat the bar that will showcase their forte and skill. The Competition will test creativity, efficiency,deliciousness and the ability to stay calm under pressure and do it all with top notch hospitality.

ENTRY

Entry to The ProWine Bartenders’ Competition is by invite only. However, if you would like to nominate a fellow colleague whose skills arehigh calibre and deserve representation, please email Nikhil Agarwal at nikhil@allthingsnice.in

Entry is by invitation and free of cost.

JUDGING

Bartenders will be presented with one select cocktail to be presented to judges within a time span. The ProWine Bartenders' Competition will be judged by a panel of highly regarded professionals and renown experts.

Judging criteria will be based on the theme laid out by the Judging Panel and ProWine Mumbai.

THE WINNER

The selection criteria for rewarding the bartenders will be based on fulfillment of the theme. The winning bartender at ProWine Mumbai will be awarded 'The ProWine Mumbai Bartender of theYear'. The winner will receive a cash prize and certification from ProWine. Above all, the winner will get a chance for a bar takeover at a leading international bar, courtesy ProWine Mumbai.

The winner will also be interviewed by ProWine media with Photo opportunities and will be visuallypromoted on the show floor. Besides social media promotion, the winner will also be mentioned in thepost event press release sent out to large publications and media houses.
